Apartment booked with this company. It was terrible. When we arrived from a long journey, we could not find the key anywhere. Contact with the company was not good. Later we were told that we had to pick up the key of the apartment somewhere else. A few hours later we were able to enter, but the apartment was super dirty and not cleaned up. For us never again this company and certainly not recommended.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einer gepflegten Anlage mit verschiedenen Pools und Parkplatz vor der Tür. Die Anlage ist zusätzlich durch ein Tor gesichert. Sehr ruhige Lage, aber in 5 Minuten Supermarkt, Restaurants und Cafés zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche perfekt ausgestattet mit hochwertigen Interieur. Besonders schön war es auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken, wir hatten m Oktober noch den schönsten Sommerurlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ganz sehr noch zu erwähnen, die Betreuung vor Ort, so nett und freundlich und man spricht deutsch , neben allen anderen Sprachen, aber für uns so wichtig! Es ist wunderbar, Tipps und Empfehlungen zu bekommen und Hilfe für Ausflüge und alle anderen Aktivitäten. Ganz lieben Dank an dieser Stelle nochmal an Tilla und Ulrika.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid Sunstars Rentals in Marbella

Our recent stay at a Sunstars rental in Marbella was a nightmare. We had been looking forward to a relaxing vacation with our three young children, but the experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

Here are the major issues we faced:

- Mold in the Initial Apartment: The first apartment we booked was completely uninhabitable due to mold. The odor and condition were horrible (we have photos to prove it). We had to relocate to another apartment, which was incredibly exhausting with three kids in tow.

- Stressful Relocation: We had to pack up all our belongings and drive back to the Sunstars office to exchange keys. This was an unnecessary hassle and wasted a lot of our time and energy.

- Broken Shower in New Apartment: The second apartment wasn’t much better. One of the showers was broken, and after two minutes of use, the bathroom flooded. This left us with only one functional shower for five people.

- Unclean Conditions: To make matters worse, the second apartment wasn’t clean. We found hair on the beds, and the overall hygiene was very poor.

- Security Risk: The terrace door could not be locked for the entire week, leaving our family feeling unsafe. Anyone could have easily accessed the apartment from outside.

- No Response from Sunstars: We reported these issues immediately to Sunstars, and while their representative promised that cleaning and maintenance would come, no one ever showed up.

- Despite several follow-ups, we were completely ignored After our stay.

- WiFi and Parking Problems: The WiFi was out for a full day, and the parking situation was not clearly communicated. We were left to find off-site parking, which added even more inconvenience.

Overall, Sunstars failed to provide even the most basic standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. We understand that not everything goes perfectly, but their lack of response and disregard for our concerns were simply unacceptable.

I strongly advise anyone considering a Sunstars rental in Marbella to think twice. Our long-awaited vacation was ruined, and we are now seeking a refund due to the uninhabitable conditions and unresponsive management.

Don’t risk your vacation with Sunstars.

They cancelled my booking 2 weeks prior to arrival. It was really dissapointing. We had booked a large family villa in Estepona more than 6 months in advance to ensure we got a good price and could chooce a nice villa. Today, I am left homeless for the summer and looking for a new villa that will surely cost much more given the short notice period.
Will not book with them again.

We really enjoyed the fantastic stay in a townhouse in Aloha Pueblo. We will definitely book it again. The Sunstars team gave us excellent service and very easy to both check in and out with pre-made videos!

Santa was absolutely amazing with us. She was very professional, helpful and Friendly. Sent us a full video of how to access the apartment - We had some maintainance issues at the rental and she was so efficient and sorted it for us straight away. Messages were answered promptly and dealt with ……The maintenance chap was fantastic and even came once on his day off. I would definitely recommend, they were fantastic! Thank you we will definitely be using you for future rentals!

We rented an apartment from this agency which was advertised as having "panoramic mountain and sea views". A dark, badly lit ground floor flat facing a 2m high wall at the front and the garden with pool at the rear is what we actually got. It started off badly when we got there on the Sunday as we had not been given the contact number of the meet & greet person. The office being closed, we had to ring the owner of the agency to resolve the situation. There were no verbal or written instructions regarding the flat or complex facilities, we had to sort ourselves out. So there was no hot water for the kitchen sink, we had to find out how to turn that on (and even then it was only Luke warm), The tumble dryer was broken, we had to prop a chair against it as the door was falling off, and when we reported it we were told: "yes it is a bit difficult" but no offer to repair it,. Before going to bed, we eradicated any mosquitoes, but in the morning there were always a few that had got in through the vents. The double bed advertised was 2 beds pushed together, so the bedding was all for single beds, there was not enough cookery to service the apartment, so we were washing up as we went (not what you expect on holiday), and having opted to rent towels and linen, we expected to have a full complement - but no such luck! one tee towel, no kitchen hand towel, and very worn small bath towels was what was provided for the princely sum of well over €100! We ended up buying what we needed from the local store.
So would I recommend this agency? No, not on this performance as what we got was a bachelor flat for golfers who are out all day, will not use the facilities, and just want to put their heads down at night.
