Coal Creek Hideaway was perfect and working with Tracy, Meaghan & Maureen was a dream!
We rented Coal Creek Hideaway for our family of 8 in August 2015 for five nights. The location is outstanding. The deck with hot tub overlooks Coal Creek. The setting is very private - not an easy thing to find in Crested Butte. It is easy to walk into town and to access the bus stop. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. I think the thing we enjoyed the most was how well appointed the house was and how many luxurious touches were included. The owners have thought of everything including things like extra silverware and dishes, umbrellas, slippers, bathrobes, books, games and more. It is clear that this house is loved and has much personality. The upstairs master suite is fantastic with a huge bathroom and a wonderful shower - perfect for sore muscles after a hike. The apartment accessed from the stairs outside was wonderful for our adult children. They could stay up as late as they wanted without disturbing anyone. I love to cook and I found the appliances in the kitchen to be top notch and there as a large array of pots, pans, serving dishes and other gadgets. I brought along extra napkins, pots, silverware etc. and I didn't need them. It was perfect. The beautiful yard was great for our corn hole game and the flowers bright and well cared for. I could go on and on. Bottom line is that I would rent this house again in a heartbeat for any time of year. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely home with us. It was a home not just a house like so many other rentals we have stayed in. We live in Colorado and have visited Crested Butte on many occasions. This was the best rental experience we have ever had there.

We stayed at the Porch House in downtown CB! The view was great, the house was also cozy and well- decorated. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make big dinners and make fires. We loved our experience and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

We absolutely love Crested Butte, but would never book with CB Properties again.

Having stayed in 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star properties (both hotels and rental homes) around the world, we have never had less service, felt less welcome, or been "nickel and dimed" more than we were here.

Simple requests for things like toilet paper (in a house with 7 bedrooms) got us nothing but push-back, explanation of their policies and procedures, and a reminder that "this is Crested Butte" and you just don't understand. Tracy (an owner), instead of spending $20 bucks to solve the problem and provide some basic level of customer service, went so far as to send me a scathing email afterwards further explaining that our requests for paper products were out of line.

The 7-bedroom house we rented on Teocalli was mostly clean, and as pictured. It is a very nice house. However the hot tub was falling apart in a number of spots and most bathrooms were not connected to their bedrooms and the layout could be a bit tough for multiple families.

Other positives = location (amazing), view from back-porch (amazing), and kitchen (great).

We plan to come back to Crested Butte but will seek one of the many other rental agencies and stay away from CB Properties.

Just got back from a fantastic week in Crested Butte thanks to Tracy's help at Crested Butte Property Management (CBPM). This is our second time working with CBPM. We loved the property we stayed at. The property was accurately represented online -- comfortable, attractive, well appointed, etc. The property was VERY CLEAN, well stocked and updated in all the right places (WiFI, flat-screen TVs, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, etc.). Tracy is always reliable and easy to work with. And the on-site contact, Meghan, was available by phone or text if we needed her. She also touched base before and at the end to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommend working with CBPM. It will save you a ton of time. They have an extensive inventory of properties in all different "shapes and sizes" to meet different needs.
