An idilic location over looking the river, surrounded by beautiful mountains and trees, and filled with the soothing sound of flowing water and birds. The house is lovely inside, build in a traditional manner with great wood work, with a great attention to detail. The top level is a spacious open plan living area with the most charming exterior deck looking directly over the river. The lower level has five comfortable double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, (six bathrooms in total). There is an additional shared sleeping area on an upper mezzanine level which is great for older kids. The outside space is excellent, also with full mountain and river views.The generous exterior space has a fully fitted double Bbq area and a delightful gazebo with a cleverly crafted 16 person table. The pool is on a slightly higher level. It is large and picturesque and is a great lounging spot as well.
There is direct access to the river (through a gate) and nice walks from the house. The property is fenced and gated. This property has been well built with love, care and attention to detail by the owner. It is very well maintained and the owner is attentive, friendly and helpful. We went as a large family group and have already booked again for next year as we loved it.
The access is tricky, through twisty narrow roads and a track but I think its worth the drive. Google maps takes you directly there but they also recommend another easier route.
