Don't rent from here!

UPDATE: I hired a cleaning company to clean my apartment from top to bottom.Even with that, $400 dollars was deducted from my security deposit because of walls………. Normal wear & tear. I was warned about Eagles Properties not returning the full security deposit to their residents upon move out from another resident and made it a priority to avoid this. Clearly didn’t do anything since their minds are made up to keep the money from the start. Like I stated, please beware renting from here.

Edit: I reached out to you all with my concern and received zero help. I was a “real client” of yours for 4+ years under this name so not understanding the confusion.

In the past I have had some real nightmares leasing properties with management not getting to concerns in a timely manner including when my family and I had gotten flooded out of our apartment due to a storm and was left homeless and they did nothing but drag their feet getting the apartment livable again. With this I always had anxiety when it came to dealing with property managers.

I had nothing but an excellent experience leasing my property here! Megan was so incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns and put my fears to rest. The property is well-maintained, and I never ran into any serious issues. I especially appreciate the prompt communication as this was extremely important to me! Highly recommend to anyone looking to deal with an exceptional property management!

The owners specifically seem to be really amazing landlords, with the exception of not fixing bigger cosmetic issues but that’s not required so I can’t fault them. While the property managers are difficult to get ahold of during the initial process, once you sign they’re not as difficult to contact. My specific leasing agent is amazing though, as she has answered all questions no matter how stupid and mundane.

We have recently moved to Goldsboro, and we have been working with Eagle property since we have arrived, and we have put those poor people through the Ringer. Looking at different homes and it is not their fault that we still haven't found the right one yet, but we're still looking and they have been awesome. They have even come out to help us when we had a problem with a lock box so I would highly recommend Eagle properties, and so far they have been awesome.

I rented an apartment through Eagle Properties for around 2 years. Scrubbed the whole apartment top to bottom when I moved out, and had the carpets professionally cleaned ($250). My security deposit was $1,000 and due to “Misc. charges” and a $325 cleaning fee that they charged me I am only getting back less than half of that money. After having put my own money into this and my time and effort in scrubbing the baseboards and taking pride in a clean home, this was very disheartening and frustrating. They also charged me a fee for drip pans that were used when I moved in and are not within my control. The apartment was just as clean if not cleaner than when I moved in. I should also state that my family owns several rental properties and have managed these for over 15 years… I am very aware of the process and procedures that go into rental properties. While renting from them I had several issues come up within the apartment that were also outside of my control (due to the property being dated and appliances being well worn) and was threatened to be charged with the fees associated with fixing these things. I definitely learned my lesson and will not be renting from them again.
