We recently attended the Couples Basic Pistol Combo class with John, and the experience was phenomenal. We booked our session early in the morning, hoping for a more personalized session, which is exactly what we got.

John was exceptional—patient, thorough, and genuinely committed to our learning. He tailored his teaching to accommodate both my wife's and my learning styles, which was crucial given our different levels of familiarity with firearms. I had some basic experience from a course years ago, but my wife was new to this entirely.

John's approach was respectful and engaging. He explained the nuances of grip, stance, and shooting techniques, particularly how they might differ for men and women, which was incredibly helpful. We both practiced loading, firing, and safely handling a handgun, and under John's guidance, we felt we made significant progress.

The class covered all the essentials of pistol handling and safety, leaving us with a solid foundation to build upon. John's methodical teaching style ensured that we corrected our mistakes as we went, enhancing our confidence and competence.

We left the range not only more knowledgeable but also feeling empowered in our ability to handle firearms safely. For anyone considering this class, especially if you're starting with little to no experience, I highly recommend it. John's expertise and teaching method make all the difference.

I first meet John after visiting two other gun ranges. I was looking for a place my daughter (21) and I could fell comfortable learning how to handle a gun. Once I met John I knew this was the place. My daughter and I had the best experience learning the basics of shooting a gun. She was so excited and is looking forward to coming back again soon. I'm so glad that I ended up getting my firearms training and pistol here. Initially, I was trying to work with another business that I won't name. They just weren't good at getting back to me and setting anything up. So, I recalled that a friend had mentioned John's place. I decided to check it out. I purchased the Handheld firearm and CCW training from John and it was everything I expected. We fired two weapons for an hour as he touched up my stance, grip, and aim. I initially wanted to purchase a Glock 19 gen 5, however, he suggested a Smith and Wesson Equalizer to see which I liked more. I thought I was sold on the Glock but he opened my eyes to different options and what works best for me. I will definitely be going back to John’s shop to buy myself some guns and ammo, as well as take advantage of the nice range he has in the back. Regardless of your skill level, I highly recommend you go visit John as he was very personable, knowledgeable, and eager to help.

We recently participated in the Couples Basic Pistol Combo with John, and it was an outstanding experience. I booked early in the day to ensure we’d have the range to ourselves and mentioned to John that we might be an unusual pair: 70-year-old me and my 21-year-old grandniece.

The class exceeded my expectations. John was incredibly attentive, respectful, and patient, focusing on my grandniece in a way that made her feel comfortable and empowered. I listened in, learned a lot, and got my chance to load, fire and safely handle the Glock. John’s detailed explanations about the differences in grip and technique for men and women were especially enlightening and helped us both improve our accuracy.

While I know there’s much more to learn about owning and handling a pistol, John covered the fundamentals thoroughly and guided us through any missteps with care. We both left the range feeling confident in our abilities and much more knowledgeable than when we arrived.

For context, neither of us had significant prior experience—I took a pistol course in college back in 1974, and my grandniece had only fired a black powder pistol a couple of times. Thanks to John’s clear and methodical teaching, we both gained skills and confidence we didn’t think possible in such a short time. Highly recommended!

John est très sympa et nous a bien expliqué le maniement des armes. Nous avons pu tester le pistolet, avec le chargement des munitions ainsi qu’un fusil automatique. C’est impressionnant !! Tout se déroule en sécurité, nous avons même pu emmener nos enfants à l’intérieur pour des photos. D’ailleurs John a eu la gentillesse de nous prendre en photo pour immortaliser cette superbe expérience ! Merci encore à vous, nous reviendrons vous voir lors de notre prochain voyage à Cape Coral.
