It's the worst company I've ever encountered. They are excessively slow, they do not answer, they do not help the tenants. Calls never answer, calls always say they are not available, emails always respond late. I hope that people can read this comment and take their forecasts if they need to work with them. THE WORST COMPANY.
Es la peor compañia con la que jamas me habia topado. Son excesivamente lentos, no dan respuesta, no ayudan a los inquilinos. Nunca responden las llamadas, las llamadas siempre dicen que no estan disponibles, los emails los responden siempre tarde. Espero que la gente pueda leer este comentario y tomar sus previsiones por si necesitan trabajar con ellos. LA PEOR COMPANIA.

By far the worst experience of my life. We have been evicted by this company due to lack of organization and communication on their end. They never answer the phone, and if they do you cannot understand the person and they are no help whatsoever. They are telemarketers with a script. We had the money to pay but were BLOCKED from paying because they said we missed a payment.
The “missed payment” was a month of rent waved by Home River because the house was in absolute shambles!! Everything was broken when we moved in. No hot water, oven, leaking faucets, broken showers… just awful. The home was DIRTY as well. Considering we have to pay over 8 grand to secure the home we didn’t feel it was fair. They agreed and waved Mays rent. After paying June, they filed eviction on us claiming we missed a payment. What?! We have been to court twice, the first time resulting in case dismissal, but they still had us blocked from payments. After awaiting over $6,000 in late fees while they blocked us from paying, and owing $10,000 in rent (which we were willing to pay,) they forced us out. Throwing our belongings in the curb for trash. Take this as a warning…. They will screw over good people who have the money to pay and not even think twice.

I'm post the picture here because no one will call and help with the ztenant. Dead tree, hole in the bottom of the garage. Gap in the garage door so missing the seal on the door to keep the rain out. I will be adding more pictures. The kitchen cupboard door that is warped. A pull out drawer that does not open. The freezer refrigerator doesn't freeze been waiting for 8 weeks. The people at meld never responded. It took them over a week to get the AC fixed there was a hole in one of the lines. We have been waiting 2 weeks for them to fix the roof there is zero absolute urgency with this company and more Storms are coming. Did meld sent photos and nothing. 5:30 am 6/5/2024 the ceiling drops. This company changed my address without my authorization. There are tenant is stealing all my mail. September 11, 2024 I put a request in to have the outside light on my porch fixed. And 18 days later they cancelled it. I have asked them to remove dead trees . The trees have been dead since we've moved in and they cancelled that.

Not happy since our property management switched over. We never get to talk to our property manager. When we call we have to deal with a third party that's outsourced to another country and you can barley understand them. To top it all off they started charging extra money a month for better vendors and better service. However their vendors are still the same cheap as you can find vendors that barley get the work done correctly. They don't respond in a timely manner and there is no such thing as an emergency. We have been without air conditioning for days and they still haven't approved the part getting ordered. I would not rent a house from these people all they care about is collecting a check

I am unsatisfied how my move in date went . Paint on the walls all different colors. A/C not working blowing out hot air and they have yet gotten anyone out to look at it it’s been 24 hours and I have a newborn
Since the complaint and they told me to call nobody has reached out to me nor has came out . Horrible service
6/19/24 - Nobody still has contact me nor has the property manager. I don’t even know who that is .

If I could leave no stars I would. Do not rent or sign a lease with this company. I should have known better from the start. I had to sign the lease 3 different times when I toured I was assured that maintenance would come in and fix the issues two days after move in I came home to find the automatic door keypad had malfunctioned and we could not get into the house. I called they assured me it was priority hours later they have sent nobody. I’m tired it’s so hot outside they basically don’t care. We had to call our own locksmith and pay to get into the house after reading the reviews and seeing that everyone else has had the same problems I am filled with regret we’re stuck dealing with these people for another year. As soon as our one year lease is up we’re moving this has been the biggest mistake of my life. They screw you with all these extra fees for nothing. Sad part is I would have been a good renter and I was planning on staying here for 3 years while we look for land and build a home. Please listen when I say do not do it. It is not worth it. It is impossible to speak to a real person and when you do they are not helpful

If I could leave no stars I would. Do not lease from Homeriver group… you have been warned. When we moved out we received a letter basically a bill because we did not cut trees, which is not even on our property, but the limbs were hanging over the fence. This is a safety issue and we were not prepared to do this type of maintenance. We had a tree in the front yard, which was barely hanging on and we called multiple times for them to come cut it. They never did in the tree ended up falling on my husband‘s truck, causing major damage.
Not only did they expect us to cut trees they wanted us to paint the whole house. We use professional cleaning service to get the carpets cleaned, but that was not up to their standard. Mind you we have lived in the house for five years with two kids so of course there are stains that could not be easily removed. The carpet was previously used by the previous owner so you would think they would pull it up and lay down new carpet. We have put in maintenance request for lightbulbs that we could not reach so they could come out They refused and now they’re charging us for them. There’s a reason they were not changed because we could not reach them Even with a ladder. They kept our deposit plus trying to make us pay even more money, even though we were paying over $2600 in rent a month. It sucks that we have to get a lawyer because we tried to move out and clean the best we could. They just wanted the house to be immediately ready for the next tenant. They did not want to have to put in any work For normal wear and tear even though they are the owners.
