This company is awful to work with from a renters perspective. They charge an additional fee of $50/month for a “benefits package” which provides zero value. It is a disguised money grab. Now, if you provide proof of renters insurance with a third party they are supposed to reduce that fee. Unsurprisingly, despite showing proof, they’ve been charging full price and have been IMPOSSIBLE to work with to resolve the issue. Rather than assist with any issues, they push all the resolution back on you to resolve while providing zero value…all while threatening to charge late fees for the unpaid charges. I can’t wait to be disconnected from this terrible company in the future. I’ve had to invest 10+ hours of my time to resolve this single issue. What “managing” is this property management company doing exactly? They are simply just collecting payments with zero effort

I have been with the Homeriver property management group for about 5 years. I have had no issues, they are thorough with the renter background process and also with keeping up with the tenants and their needs. My property manager is Laura Fascetti and she is awesome to work with it. Very pleasant, and She is always on top of everything with your tenants. And she is very knowledgeable when you have questions.

Terri Overbay, my property manager, handled my issue today and it dealt with a issue i was charged with as a property owner in error. This issue was resolved the same day I talked to her and my account was credited with the appropriate amount. Excellent customer service in my opinion.

Home River Group has been extremely helpful in helping me manage my property. Specifically, Laura, my property manager. She recently conducted a move out inspection for my property and was helpful, timely, and detailed with her report. She is very responsive and easy to work with. I appreciate her so much!

I have been working with HomeRiver Group for many years now. It acquired a management company that I first signed up with. The transition was seamless and the great people I worked with like Rodney Rhodes and Terry Overbay are still with the company and thriving. More recently my properties are assigned to a new person named Laura Fascetti. Initially, I was worried about the transition but Laura is amazing! She’s very responsive, follows through on all outstanding items and is on top of everything. I highly recommend HomeRiver Pittsburgh group to any landlord looking for property manager.

Answered every single one of my questions in a timely fashion. I needed to move quickly and I viewed a property and was able to move the same week. Absolutely fantastic. Didn't have to wait till the first of the month, I'm sure that depends on the property owner. They have a concierge service that helps you transfer over all your utilities and internet. That person was also super kind and highly recommended. Although this process is more complicated than your average run a background check and give you some money, they help me figure out how to do it every step of the way. I was not paid to say any of this.
