When my family and I arrived at a hotel in Madrid, we had already been living in a Washington, D.C. hotel for eight days after our property there had sold, and so we wanted to get into a new place fairly quickly. Based on conversations with others who had shopped for property for sale or rent in Spain, we knew it could be a time-consuming process. So, we opted to contact Brian and Dulce to help us.

We spoke with Brian and Dulce before we left the US, and over our first two days in Madrid, we were engaged in a back and forth about which properties on the market appealed to us. By Wednesday, we were seeing a number of apartments that they had scheduled for us, based on our parameters (size, price, location etc.). We saw around 12 places over three days our first week, and in the process, adjusted our parameters.

Brian and Dulce responded immediately to the changes, and over the next few days, we saw more and more places to our liking. After four full days of showings, we ended up with several apartments that we loved – three amazing choices. We would have been very happy in any one of them.

After we settled on one, Brian and Dulce helped us set up a Spanish bank account, advised us on the apartment contract, joined us at the settlement table, and helped us in setting up our internet and mobile phone service.

Brian and Dulce are very smart, very friendly, and are fluent in Spanish and English. They will work very hard on your behalf.

During our biweekly calls and perfect management of the spreadsheet with properties list we were able to identify the characteristics that worked best for us. Both Brian and Dulce were patient and professional in explaining to us both the architectural elements of Spanish houses (and how they differ from what we were used to) and the urban background of every neighbourhood, to make sure we made the best decision for us.
