I received an email stating that I do not have insurance. This company took over from another company. Someone didn't check records. I've had insurance consistently for 7 years. They added a fee to my account without informing me. My neighbor also informed me, they were charged as well. We've both lived here, about the same amount of time. I've also had many other issues at this complex, with the new taker over. I no longer feel comfortable/safe living here. I renewed my lease under the old management, if I would of only known. I'd not renewed/extended my lease. It's no longer a home, just a place to store my items and to keep a roof over my head, with my dog. I'm hoping to move ASAP.

As a resident, I really appreciate that Sandalwood approves repairs at our property. They understand our pier and boardwalk make our property stand out. Great job! Every management company is going to have negative reviews due to the nature of them receiving the brunt of all problems. Don't judge the properties based on this, our residents are happy!

This is what I’ve been dealing with for OVER 1 month of living at one of their properties without compensation for a violation of health code. They have been no help and impossible to contact. Please refrain from staying at one of their properties.

Moved out November of 2023 from one of the properties that they manage, I have been trying to get my account closed ever since I moved out. The manager Maribel does not return calls or emails. Calling corporate is a joke because they refer you to an answering service to leave a message and they supposedly will return your call, that never happens. It has been a year of extreme frustration and lack of help, I just want my account closed so I never have to deal with them ever again!!

I have lived at Henry Heights apartments for several years never had a problem with management until Sandalwood took over had my car towed because the registration policy wasnt the same and didnt warn me that my vehicle was going to be towed I pray on this company's downfall for anyone wondering if they should lease with them.... I have sent an email regarding your property Birchwood in Dallas, TX, but to emphasize the seriousness of the matter, I am also providing a review. Tonia Hall's management has not effectively addressed the issue of homelessness, which is concerning. It has come to my attention that there is a group of homeless individuals residing in the vacant apartment below mine. I reported this last week, and management acknowledged my complaint through my sister.

However, no action has been taken since Monday, and the window to the apartment remains open. I simply requested for them to remove the individuals and secure the apartment, yet this apparently simple task has not been accomplished. With the weekend fast approaching, it is imperative that this issue is resolved promptly. I trust that as a company renowned for its performance, you will exhibit leadership skills and prioritize the well-being of tenants who invest their money in your properties. As tenants, we contribute to your success, and I sincerely hope that this message reaches someone at the property and company who can address the issue. I am disappointed and no longer willing to tolerate this situation.

I cannot get in touch with anyone regarding our astronomically high water bill at Greystone Flats. Sandalwoods service line always is sent to voicemail, regardless if you call for residential services, corporate leasing, or even HR for employment verification. I cannot get in touch with a human being besides our leasing office manager, who is great for the record. This issue is above her at this point, and I need Sandalwoods corporate team to get to a resolution. For context, my water bill is $150 a month for a two bedroom apartment with one and a half baths. I have seen a family of four somehow paying $300 a month, which means they are getting charged for over twenty thousand gallons of water. And that means I am somehow getting charged for a consumption of 11,000 gallons, the equivalent of a single family home with irrigation. I have tried calling the city, Conservice, and multiple levels of Sandalwood with absolutely zero headway besides empty “we are working on it”.

I need a resolution, otherwise we will have to start getting in touch with all the residents to get us to tag team this issue that is costing us a ridiculous amount of money.

Edit: their response with the email is a joke, as no one answers the emails. Tried calling multiple different ways today, and no one answers. Can’t wait to never deal with this company again.
