No not rent from Arkham Realty i had the call the health department not even a year into the property. The health department came out 3 times gave Arkham 4 pages of things that need to be addressed and they did absolutely nothing. Bathroom completely molded out, the tub and toilet leaks in the basement. Basement gets completely wet when it rain. They call themselves sanding the tub and repainting it it peeled within a month. All the countertops in the kitchen are not secured. There is a ant problem that was there before i moved in and they wanted me to pay for a exterminator.

I had a positive experience renting from Arkham. They were very straight forward during the application process. Every interaction was pleasant and they respected our privacy. They’re a very fair company to rent from in Pittsburgh. The property was managed well.

Would not recommend to ANYONE!! We have been calling and entering stuff in the app for months and months and they have sent 2 people who came to look, but never fixed anything. All of our clothes and shoes are ruined due to mold and just being in this wet apartment in general. Our walls are softening and we were supposed to get a replacement for the dehumidifier that came with the apartment in April, and it is almost August. Everybody they sent here has looked us up and down or made it seem like we did not matter and they never finish the job correctly. We have a leaking ceiling, holes in the wall, a hole in the floor, the outlets only work on one side of the rooms, mold everywhere, and just an unsafe environment overall. Tom who works in maintenance is always here but never to help us or even take look. Pretty soon we’re going to go to the health department if they do not do anything about it. This is my partner and I’s first place and we’re young and they have made this a living hell and a terrible experience. Pretty soon it will be out of my hands and on to the health department.

If I could give this rental company negative stars, I would. I don’t even know where to begin with them. My partner and I decided to move into a rental property they had back in March of last year, and we both loved the person who showed it to us and we also did like the house. When we moved in we noticed a huge decal on the wall from the previous owner and we were told that Arkham would remove it, which they didn’t. Any time we would try to call or request maintenance, no one would respond or pick up, and the one time they did, they sent us instructions on how WE could take it off but when we tried it started to tear the paint off so we just left it there. We also had our water heater break and our so called “property manager”, who wasn’t even a real property manager she was a leasing specialist, fought us tooth and nail on fixing it and she told us she didn’t know who to call for it when there was rust and sewage flooding our basement, twice. The second time, Arkham refused to get a cleaning specialist to help us because it was “too expensive” and we had to sit in our sewage smelling house. And when calling our “property manager” about the concern she just yelled and swore at us. We also were not getting our water bill at all. BUT, we were getting late notices taped to our door claiming that they sent us the bill before and that there will be a late fee and our water will be shut off, when Arkham has been getting our bill and not sending or telling us. This company only cares about taking money for you and absolutely does not care about if their tenants are living in a safe environment. Safe your money and yourself and don’t rent from this god awful property management.
